A kintsugi workshop is a great activity for Young Women's groups. This could be held as a stand-alone activity, or it could be paired with a larger group activity such as girls camp.
Kelsie is passionate about helping others to feel seen, heard & valued. She believes the best way to do that is to point them to Christ. One reason kintsugi resonates with her is due to the powerful symbolism that can be drawn between it and the healing that can be found through Christ.
Whether being held on a ward or stake level, this is a great activity for youth. Explore the symbolism that can found in kintsugi. Learning that beauty can be found in the imperfections & helping girls understand that their value isn't diminished by the breakages they endure in life. This is a great compilation of exploring art, fortifying one's testimony of Christ, and hearing from someone else's experiences of overcoming life's challenges. This personal narrative of rising above abuse, and navigating mental health challenges can help others to feel like their experiences matter too, and that they are capable of healing and building a life worth living.
Because I want these Christian workshops to be as accessible as possible, I offer these at-cost. Meaning the organization would only be covering the materials cost, there is no teaching fee. I provide all materials needed for the workshop and will also bring Christian decor that nicely ties in with the theme. Because these workshops are offered at-cost and my time is donated, I only offer a certain number of these per year, so please plan ahead.
I am located in Utah County, depending on where the workshop is held there may be a need for a travel fee. I do all I can to keep these workshops as affordable as possible.
Reach out and let's get your workshop on the calendar!
